AEKU disposable range upgrades and spare parts (Freemax Maxus)

AEKU disposable range advice for Cambodia, covering gift ideas, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.

Local availability in Cambodia shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.

We spent weeks putting aeku disposable range options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. Worth noting that the 510 bottom pin takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below.

Airflow control on the RELX Pro is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 50, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.

If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 50:50 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Cambodia shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current KHR rates rather than a fixed list price.

Comparing this against a 50:50 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 4.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Expect roughly 845 full puffs from a charge at 6 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing.

Battery behaviour is where the RELX Pro earns its keep: the 2000 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 50 and recharges over USB-C. We would pair the RELX Pro with a 50:50 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.6 Ω mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.

Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.6 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. In Cambodia, availability of the 0.6 Ω mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself. The narrow bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips.

The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 0.6 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 50:50 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Cobalt Blue finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.

Specifications

These are the figures that matter day to day, and the ones worth comparing across models.

Flavour and performance notes

A representative profile is Strawberry Cream: creamy, sweet, described as smooth strawberry custard with a light dairy note. On a 50:50 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.6 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.

Practical considerations in Cambodia

Availability in Cambodia is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.6 Ω mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and KHR rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
